Mediceuticals South Africa – Returns & Refunds Policy
Thank you for shopping with Mediceuticals South Africa, operated by Infinity Professional Group (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2017/380225/07). If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, please review this policy on returns and refunds. These terms apply to products purchased through www.mediceuticals.co.za.
Definitions
"Company" ("we", "us", "our") refers to Infinity Professional Group (Pty) Ltd, trading as Mediceuticals South Africa. "Goods" refers to items offered for sale through the Website. "Website" refers to www.mediceuticals.co.za. "You" means the individual or entity purchasing Goods through the Website.
1. Change-of-mind cancellations (14-day return)
As a matter of policy, and going beyond the statutory minimum, we allow you to cancel your order and return unused, unopened Goods in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery, without needing to give a reason. To exercise this right, contact us at info@infinitycollection.co.za within 14 days of receiving your order. We will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods, using the same payment method you used for your order, at no extra cost to you.
This 14-day change-of-mind period is separate from, and in addition to, your 7-business-day cooling-off right for goods purchased online under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, where applicable.
2. Conditions for change-of-mind returns
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, Goods must:
- be returned within 14 days of delivery;
- be unused and in their original, sealed packaging.
The following Goods cannot be returned for change of mind:
- Goods made or personalised to your specification;
- Goods which, by their nature, deteriorate rapidly or have passed their expiry date;
- Goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed or used after delivery (including opened haircare and skincare products);
- Goods which have, after delivery, become inseparably mixed with other items.
We reserve the right, in our reasonable discretion, to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions. Only regular-priced Goods may be refunded under this change-of-mind policy; Goods purchased on sale or promotion may not be eligible, except where required by law.
3. Defective, damaged or incorrect goods
This section applies regardless of the change-of-mind conditions above, and reflects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), which cannot be excluded. If you receive Goods that are defective, unsafe, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, please contact us within a reasonable time of delivery at info@infinitycollection.co.za or 082 876 9992. Depending on the circumstances, and in accordance with section 56 of the CPA, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or full refund, at your election, within six months of delivery. We will arrange for the return of defective, damaged or incorrect Goods at our cost, not yours.
4. Returning goods
For change-of-mind returns under section 1 above, you are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to us, unless we agree otherwise. Please send returns to: Mediceuticals South Africa, 82 Montagu Street, Mossel Bay, Western Cape, 6500. We recommend using an insured, trackable courier service, as we cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return transit where this was outside our control. We are unable to issue a refund without receipt of the returned Goods or proof of delivery back to us.
5. Gifts
If Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return once we receive the returned product. If Goods were not marked as a gift, or the gift-giver had the order shipped to themselves, the refund will be sent to the gift-giver.
6. Delivery charges
Where an order qualified for free delivery, no delivery fee will be deducted from your refund for a change-of-mind return. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns remain your responsibility as described in section 4, unless the return is due to our error, or the Goods are defective, damaged or incorrect, in which case we will cover reasonable return costs.
